The Gateway University is currently in the process of creating a research park that is jointly operated by North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The park consists of two 75-acre campuses, and will be the center for basic and applied research with the potential for the incubation and development of new industries. The park is expected to house over 2,000 employees.
